This is your moment to try on the role of the case manager. This is an audition, in front of your colleagues and your instructor. Please take this seriously and prepare.

Prepare. Figure out what you want to say and do. Identify ahead of time what topics you will cover. Make a plan to do so based on your course assignments thus far.
Put together any resources you need, tools you want to use, or materials/handouts you want to provide your colleagues.
Practice. Find out how long it takes to work through your plans. Determine if you need to add or subtract from your plans.
Dress professionally.
Arrive early.

Your colleagues will have questions for you. Be prepared to answer the following. Better yet, consider including them in your prepared comments.

What is case management? What's the purpose or function of a case manager?
What's the difference between a case manager, a social worker, or a counselor?
When is case management needed?
Who do case managers serve? Who is your clientele?
Where do case managers work? What is your setting?
What is the case management process? What are the steps of case management? Take your time explaining this.
What is the appropriate focus or goals of case management?
How can you find resources? Take your time teaching them how they can find the help their clients will need.
What are the barriers to finding or using resources?
What are Mrs. Ramos' needs? What is your plan for her? What resources will you use? Why?

Despite your preparation, you'll be asked questions that surprise you. Do your best. "I don't know, but I can find out" is a better option than making up an answer, of course. And you can turn to your classmates or instructor for consultation, if need be.
