The structure of my paper: I want to start out my paper by explaining what I mean by social change. Then I want to provide a personal example and pose a question to get my audience thinking about this topic. The two major claims that I want to discuss are: cell phones have increased motor accidents and cell phones have increased cheating in schools. With those claims I would like to include statistics and primary research based on surveys that I have gathered myself. I would also like to include my stakeholder groups of government officials/police officers; I think this would have an impact on my readers if people in authority also agree that cell phones are dangerous. I will also include an opposing view on cell phones in school because I want my readers to know that I am not entirely against cell phones. I will tie this into my conclusion by stating that although cell phones are addictive and can have negative consequences, they can also be a helpful device when used at appropriate times and places.
